Marry in a minute? That’s right, and a trip to Vegas including an Elvis suit is not even required.
The governments of our country are at the moment very busy optimizing their processes by the use of ICT. These renewed governments call themselves by the refreshing abbreviation; an e-government ( or electronic government).

For us these changes in the future will mean no more long waiting queues and no more old dusty offices when filling in formal forms, declaring a newborn child or changing your civil state. The governments really want to go all the way and digitalize nearly all processes with the use of information systems and websites.

The past few years, a lot of processes have become digital already. The big question however is, how far should this digitalization go? After all we still live in a society with people who do not own computers or do not have an internet connection (yes, they really exist). Furthermore, you will also have to fill in those difficult formal forms without any personal help and.. I wonder.. who would even wánt to marry in a minute?
